Akaushi Beef

Akaushi, or the Japanese Brown, is a breed of Wagyu cattle from Japan that originated over a thousand years ago.  In the late 1970's, two Akaushi bulls were imported to the United States to cross with domestic US catte.  Several decades later, additional bulls and females were imported and the first herd of fullblood Akaushi cattle were born on United States soil.

Akaushi is a superior beef over any other beef on the market today.  The beef has been proven in multiple scientific studies to have the following benefits:

  • 50% more monosaturated fats than other beef (the GOOD fats)

  • High levels of Oleic Acid, the same acid found in olive oil

  • High Omega 3 content versus regular/domestic beef

  • A smooth, buttery flavor not found in any other beef

We have been cross breeding Akaushi bulls on our angus cows since 2020.  We have found this cross creates a consistent, strong, amazing beef product that we know you will enjoy!
